How to Write an Effective Essay

The Baseball Field

Steve was seated on the balcony looking the falling rain. Suddenly, Sara came from the kitchen. She was scared, Bob their son, was gone. Bob was playing in the backyard when a man wearing a baseball uniform took him. Sara saw they through the kitchen window, but when she opened the door to check, they were not there anymore. She was frightened.

Standing up fast, Steve ran into the house and searched for his gun, he needed to do something. He asked Sara to call 911 and to talk with the neighbors. Maybe, they would know something about Bob and the mysterious man.

Ran down the street, Steve arrived at the local baseball field. Surprisingly, Bob and the man were there, playing baseballs like a grandfather and a grandson used to do. Lowering his gun, Steve realized that in fact the man was his father, who died ten years ago. He heard his father saying "I always wished to know him. Bob is a great boy. Now I can go peacefully".

Someone coming from the street called Steve and he turned to see who it was. It was John, his neighbor. When Steve turned back, the man was gone. Bob was there, alone.

Bob and Steve went home and all the neighbors were there, waiting for them. Steve took Sara's hand, turned his back on them and walked slowly into the house.

The End.
